Joep is an executive management consultant with a passion for making change happen and making knowledge work.
After researching the impact of organizational change on the quality of working life for the Dutch Productivity Board in the mid seventies, Joep held senior positions at AMRO Bank and Royal Philips Electronics. His last assignment before he left Royal Philips focused on helping the company transforming from an engineering mindset to a market mindset.
Throughout his career he has been leading and teaching organizational change, strategy implementation, process improvement, marketing capability improvement, knowledge management and educational programs.
Joep taught at Dutch colleges on applied behavioral science, R&D management and industrial marketing.
Joep has been a member of the Advisory Board of the Dutch Information Society and chairman of the Committee on Social and Organizational Aspects of Information and Automation. He also was a member of the Chief Knowledge Officers Summit,
Joep performed as a speaker on knowledge management and marketing capabilities in professional conferences including EBIC.
He also spoke on Innovation processes in the 2000 PDMA in New Orleans.

• Developed and implemented a companywide collaborative platform for on-line marketing capability assessment and improvement tracking of all businesses.
• Developed and deployed an e-Learning suite consisting of two modules to explain the marketing capability assessment tool and how to conduct an assessment on-line, and 13 modules to provide insight in individual marketing elements and instruct how to climb the maturity ladder.
• Developed change strategies to deploy the new Philips Brand Positioning and managed the Brand Positioning Deployment Office.
