More that 16 years of diversified experience in the design, development and delivery of cost effective, high-performance information systems designed to address complex business problems in high technology environments. Possess significant expertise in strategic planning, enterprise architecture, rich internet applications, user experience, interface design, technology mergers and acquisitions, systems development, telecommunications, infrastructure, process, support, open source and open source law.
Professionally I have experience in all areas of information technology from infrastructure and telecommunications planning and management to application and systems development to enterprise architecture to working with the business and crafting user experience and implementing rich internet applications. The majority of my career has been spent in the architecture space where I have managed and integrated environments comprised of up to 270 disparate systems.
In my spare time I have played the CIO/CTO role and built out the technology offering for 2 start-up companies and am currently working on a few more. I have also assisted a number of organizations in enhancing their technology footprint and in changing their underlying architectures and processes.
My career goal is to transform the area of information technology[IT] in a way that changes IT's current reputation from being a cost to the business into being part of the business and creating any business' competitive advantage, differentiating any business from its peers and automating the business in a way that has yet to be realized by today's technology.
