After completing an Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts program at McMaster University, I studied painting and printmaking at Yale University’s Graduate School of Fine Art in New Haven, Connecticut. I am currently living in Brooklyn and have expanded my art practices in new directions such as sculpture and more recently comics! My first comics work landed me a slot as a finalist for CBR's Comic Book Idol 2 in 2004. My accomplishments since then include winning the 2005 Oni Talent Search, acting as selection juror for Comic Book Idol 3 and being nominated for an Eisner Award, the industry's highest honor, for my webcomic, "the Process"! I have publications available from Tetragrammatron Press, Ape Entertainment and Oni Press. Upcoming projects include the third installment of the Borrowed Time series with author Neal Shaffer, a webcomic short story for Smith Magazine as well as a short story in an upcoming anthology from Three Rivers (Random House).
