Candidate for Congress (FL-25)
Miami/Fort Lauderdale Area
I'm running to represent Florida's 25th district in the United States Congress .This campaign isn't about pinning Republicans vs. Democrats, right vs. left -- it's about bringing our community together and moving us forward. For far too long Washington has been dominated by the special interests that drown out the voice of the American people. We need to fix Washington and that starts by electing new leaders with a new vision.
I have worked hard to make a difference in the lives of real people.
As a law student, I worked with the men and women of the Exodus Project to reunite 10,000 families that were scattered throughout the world.
As head of the Public Service Commission I deregulated the phone industry which meant lower prices for consumers.
What I am the most proud of is my best-friend and partner for fifteen years, my wife Aileen, and my daughter Gabriela.
