I am an active member of the Agile Alliance and the Scrum Alliance. I am also is a member of the Agile Project Leadership Network (APLN) where I spearhead the local chapter in New York City. I am a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) and a Project Management Professional (PMP®). I frequently publish articles with a focus on project management and requirements engineering, and speak at conferences and companies. I received my MSc in Computing for Commerce and Industry from the Open University and teach regularly at New York University (NYU). In my current role I am responsible for the successful adoption of agile development practices in a large investment bank in New York City and provide agile mentoring services through Incrementor.com.
Prior to my current responsibilities, I co-developed the latest RUP certification examination and authored content for RUP using the Rational Method Composer. Additionally, I contributed to the OpenUP project within the Eclipse foundation. I am a IBM Certified Specialist- Rational Unified Process and IBM Certified Solution Designer – Rational Unified Process 7.0. End of December'07, my first book, the RUP Reference and Certification Guide will be available in bookstores.
Throughout my career, I have taught more than 1000 professionals in the USA and Europe. The topics have included project management, requirements engineering, object-oriented analysis and design, Smalltalk, Java, agile development processes, and the RUP.
