Since February, As Product Director, I'm responsible for managing the product strategy, road maps, product life cycle for new and existing LocaWeb products, including not only shared hosting products, but also LocaWeb iDC produtcs, based on data center solutions, and LocaWeb Telecom products such as voice recognition, virtual PBX, data links (xDSL, fiber, WiFi), VoIP, etc. Here are some of the products developed and launched under my coordination:

- Online gaming infra-structure;
- E-commerce online store hosting and payment gateway;
- Web based shared calendar with event integration with Outlook/Exchange, Notes and Gmail based accounts;

Since June/2003 I’m acting as their product and systems director to help them integrate the products, customers and billing management systems from 30+ companies they've acquired. They have around 300 employees and I’m responsible for a team of 10 people.

I was responsible for:
- Management of product strategy, road maps, product life cycle and corporate product P&L for all VIA product portfolios, including Security, Hosting, Connectivity and Messaging Services in all 15 countries;
- Management of the product development process, from Statement-of-Need documentation to end-of-life decisions;
- Coordination of production of Marketing Product Pack for VIA products, to include positioning and pricing guidelines, product collateral, product training materials, as well as technical, financial and legal specifications;
- Ensuring the consistency of corporate product offerings and providing assistance to the local operations in training, localizing and launching the corporate products.

Dialdata is an ISP I founded and ran together with 3 partners since October 1992. It was successfully sold to VIA NET.WORKS in December 1998. During all those years, Dialdata was a leader in the Brazilian corporate ISP market. In 1998 Dialdata had 45 employees and the revenue for that year was R$4.8M.
I was responsible for:
- Management of the Technical Department, including development, maintenance and support areas;
- Management and development of business and residential customers billing and help desk systems;
- Research, development and implementation of new technologies such as Remote Data Base Systems, e-commerce, Internet security, last generation programming technologies and multi-user real-time systems;
- Development and maintenance of several web sites.
