After a successful term as Interim Director, I was hired permanently into the position of Director. I successfully conducted operations during a major reorganization of my staff that included the elimination of full time trainers and all but one support staff. I achieved success by actively forming relationships with members of local organizations and partnerships with local businesses. These relationships were a key factor in cultivating relationships with a new and diverse set of adjuncts. Further, these relationships supported my efforts to add new technical courses and to extend the program outreach into new markets. Further, relationships with local businesses were advantageous to my College in terms of new non-credit classes and also relationships that could be leveraged by credit programs.
