If Innovation is doing something in a NEW way to make life better for the people who matter - then ask yourself - what can INNOVATION do for my busiiness and how can I get started?
That is the question I ask myself every day.
It makes it easy to be positive and excited about what we can all accomplish in 2009. We just need to recognize and seize every opportunity.
As CEO of ASBA (the Arizona Small Business Association) from December 2006 to December 2008, I led a team of talented professionals in advocating business needs in Arizona and oversaw the development and delivery of programs that support business growth from revitalizing our small business healthcare program, to workplace safety initiatives to new tools for productivity including a 24-7 on line workforced development system.
I am a business strategist with a passion for innovative growth strategies. Whether I am in the role of author, speaker, community leader, ceo, or entreprenuer, I love to be right in the thick of things. That's why I founded CorePurpose, Inc., a company repeatedly recognized for its innovation in the services arena, in 2002.
My key focus is delivery of sustainable results by combining the experience, skills and talents within teams to create focused business environments that maximize innovation, growth, profitability and return on investment.
Before my time at CorePurpose and ASBA, I enjoyed gathering over 20 years of experience in technology distribution, travelled the world, and held a wide range of positions in Management, Marketing, Sales, and Operations. I even got to co-author the only college textbook on the subject with a team from Texas A&M.
Today, I take what I can do and leverage new opportunities. I thrive as part of a team where developing and implementing solutions to business challenges makes a difference. After all, that's what innovation's all about.

Imagine a world where we could diagnose cancer and treat it before a tumor was ever formed or our loved ones were harmed.
Ribomed Biotechnologies, Inc. is developing assays for the early detection and monitoring of disease utilizing its patented, isothermal molecular detection process, Abscription®.
Ribomed develops products for the detection of DNA, RNA, protein and CpG methylation, with our current focus on the following two types of epigenetic changes:
Methylation changes in regulatory regions of DNA and histones that cause silencing of protective genes, such as tumor suppressors or activation of disease initiating genes.
Changes in expression of small micro RNAs (miRNA) that regulate the levels of proteins involved in disease initiation and expression, particularly those related to cancer and type 2 diabetes.
