Head of Social Media at MANGAS GAMING
Paris Area, France
I’ve had a great passion for the Internet ever since I put my first index.html online back in 1996.
I’m a Project Manager for Online Marketing at the online gaming company Expekt.com. During my 5 years of employment I’ve held several positions within the company ranging from Customer Support to Content Manager, which as given me a solid understanding and hands on experience within all fundamental areas of online marketing.
During the last year I've developed and executed the strategy of how Expekt.com should embark on Social media and align it as a core component of the marketing mix having measurable metrics and KPIs supporting traditional business objectives.
I also run a popular community driven restaurant review site called Maltalunch.com.
In the past I've been working with the legendary Buddy Bombard, a former Jet air pilot and America’s Cup yachtsman, crewing for his hot-air balloon adventure trips throughout Europe.

Developed a one year plan of how Expekt.com should embark on Social media and align it as a core component of the marketing mix having measurable metrics and KPIs supporting traditional business objectives. We focused our work around Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, Wordpress as blog platform as well as using custom developed platforms for proprietary-branded communities and third-parties tools for running campaigns.
Prior to the Social Media Marketing project I was managing the development of Expekt.com's new affiliate website and the updated marketing toolbox.
Other projects and tasks I've been involved with are such as; web analytic integration, campaign tracking setup and ad serving.

Maltalunch is a community site focused on collecting peoples reviews, comments and opinions of restaurants around the island Malta and Gozo.
Today everyone has an equal chance to broadcast their message via blogs and social networks. The monopoly of broadcasting is no longer in the hands of traditional media. Real people opinions is what matters and what sells.

Buddy Bombard’s Europe provides all-inclusive luxury travel program throughout Europe to a primarily American clientele. The multi-day programs blend first class hotel accommodation with gourmet dining, local land excursion and daily exploration by hot-air balloon.
My job as ground crew involved a combination of hot-air balloon crewing and maintenance responsibilities as well as driving passengers to restaurants, hotels, airports pick-ups and sightseeing venues in the Swiss Alps, Austria, Czech rep, and France.
"Air Force jet pilot, skier, scuba instructor, America’s Cup yachtsman, insurance executive, tour and travel entrepreneur, photographer, honored balloon pilot, gourmet and renowned raconteur – Buddy Bombard is all this and well chronicled in Sport’s Illustrated as ‘everybody’s Buddy.’ Buddy is one of the world’s few remaining founders and pioneers of adventure travel."
