Josh Lavik’s Summary
I help people buy and sell residential homes and condominiums in the Madison area. One of my proudest career achievements was probably in 2008. I currently work on a team with Ruth Wangerin and during 2008, which was the beginning of the recession, we managed to sell $6.4 million worth of residential properties throughout the year. Our sales volume was enough to bring us to the top 6.3% of all Stark Agents that year. We were number 11 out of 175 agents.
My goal is to become involved in a larger community development project. Though most of my experience in real estate has been with re-sale of older homes and condos, I hope to someday be involved in a larger planned community or urban renewal development project. I'm intrigued by T. Wall's Bishops Bay community plan as well as the East Washington Corridor re-development plan. I'm interested in finding ways for our community to become more integrated, livable, walkable, environmentally friendly, and simply better.
