José Luís Agapito’s Summary
Graduated in Psychology in 2002, I started my professional activity as a vocational counsellor(2003-2005). I quickly managed to shift my focus to IT management, mainly database and webdesign with emphasis on open source tools, during my counselling experience at IOP.
The improvement of both personnal and IT competencies led me to do some freelance webdesign projects and, beginning early 2006, a one year experience as Technical Secretary at SPNP, doing webdesign, scientific event organization and information provider for physicians and SPNP's website visitours.
Since September 2006 I am working at FCT, Portuguese governmental agency for science and technology. Started in project management (health sciences area), shifted to overheads accountant and currently doing IT management and data parametrization (SQL Server and Access) as well as intranet development.
I'm a driven and creative person, attracted by opportunities to maximize organizational performance in a day by day basis.
I like challenges involving personal contact and finding the right IT tool to maximize performance to allow co-workers a more productive and enjoyable experience.
