I'm a technical communication expert with experience in the software industry. I've worked with and for software engineering, support, project management, marketing, BizDev, creative, and CRM groups. I have a programming background and work on technical products; I'm also an advocate of the user experience, with experience in interface usability, information architecture, support tools, and providing the best information for the user and lowering support costs.
As a tech writer, it's all about FrameMaker. In previous lives it was all things WinHelp, and that includes RoboHelp and arcane Word stuff. Lots of "going from this to that" involving all sorts of HTML and XML. HTML-based help, which always ends up being homegrown.
