Luminance, my graduate thesis project, is an interactive art installation that uses pattern recognition and motion capture technology to allow untetehered physical interaction with digital content using physical body movements. Content is developed with ActionScript 2.0 classes. Participants in Luminance are not required to use an input device such as a mouse, keyboard, or head-mounted display. Instead, participants move freely with body movements and hand gestures to interact and manipulate digital content projected onto a large screen.
