In her role as a strategist at Electric Artists, Jinal has developed digital and social media strategies for brands such as A&E Television, Le Meridien Hotels, Westin Hotels and skincare start-up, Rx For Brown Skin.
Jinal has been blogging circa 1999 (even before it was called Blogging) An understanding of marketing and developing brands with the aid of new media comes naturally to her. Prior to Electric Artists, she was a strategist at Poke New York and worked on developing e-commerce and digital experience strategies for clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Cynthia Rowley and tableware start-up, Teroforma.
Before moving to New York to work on the agency side, Jinal worked as the Business Development manager at Advanta Bank Corp where she developed and launched, IdeaBlob.com, the first social network ever created by a credit card company.
She enjoys traveling and fiction-writing.

- Led and won the pitch for new client, Rx For Brown Skin. Over a six months engagement, I developed and executed a digital marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and connect the brand with its core influencers. Resulted in a significant rise in site visits + brand awareness for the brand in less than two months.
- Developed branding and marketing for Electric Artists’ new startup Meet at the Apartment, a creative meeting space in Soho. Conceived and launched First Mondays At Meet, a unique program designed to aid business development efforts. The program resulted in an increase in email acquisition, various media, blogs and twitter conversations about the brand and sponsorship opportunities.
- Developed digital and social media strategies and training programs for clients such as Westin Hotels, A&E TV, History Channel and American Express. Created strategies to address client issues such as influencer activation, managing loyalty programs, reputation management and driving sales.

- Developed the strategy for Cynthia Rowley’s site re-design. The resulting e-commerce system incorporated rich media solutions that increased sales for the client.
- Analyzed market research and ethnographies to develop consumer lifecycle scenarios and user-experience for a new Rx-stress product by J&J. Similar to Weightwatchers.com, the web component plays an integral part of the overall product experience
- Developed multi-phased short-term social media marketing and PR strategy for Teroforma and Johnson & Johnson.
- Created in-house PR practice for POKE NY, secured three press hits within 1 month, Created standard press tool-kits and new launch programs for the startup.

- Conceived, developed and managed ideablob.com, the very first social-network created and launched by a credit card company in USA. Managed a $300K budget and lead PR and marketing strategies for product launch at DEMO Conference in Sept 07. Managed relationships with creative agencies throughout the project.
- Assessed market potential to develop a new financial product targeting young entrepreneurs demographic by sizing the market, availability of resources and evaluating current underwriting strategy. Determined not a viable opportunity.
- Worked in a cross-functional innovation team directly under the CEO, to generate business ideas for increasing profitability. Ideas included repositioning existing credit card product to expand customer base, forging new partnerships in order to leverage our online sales force, and creating new products to meet untapped customer needs.
