Adjunct Instructor at American Public University System
Greater Pittsburgh Area
Primarily, I am a political science and history instructor at the college level, at three very different schools. I teach at a small but high-quality liberal arts institution, La Roche College, and the Community College of Allegheny County.
Part of my work at La Roche College involves the Scholar program, which extends opportunities for undergraduate-level learning, and college credits, to high school students. Most recently, I've given classes on World War II national decision-making to students from North Catholic High School in Pittsburgh, the French and Indian War in Western Pennsylvania to a class from Quigley Catholic in Baden PA, and classes in the history and study of terrorism to honors students from Aliquippa High School.
In addition, I'm now teaching online through American Military University, the branch of the American Public University System [APUS] that provides educational services to the special needs of the military and emergency personnel.
I'm also an Independent Associate selling affordable supplemental health and accident coverage, disability and life insurance.
