*Freelance* consultant Lunar & Mars payload operations NO longer with Serco
Madrid Area, Spain
More than 5 years experience in Science Operations working for the European Space Agency at ESTEC, ESRIN and ESAC as a contractor via Serco.
In September 2007 I started as Mars Express Science Planning Co-ordinator.
I have expert knowledge of Science Operations. From 2002 till end of 2006 I have worked on the first European lunar mission called Smart-1. Our team of 4 young lads was responsible for designing and developing the ground segment for Science Operations for the first fully in-house operated planetary mission of ESA. We did a really good job.
From March till August I have worked as interim Technical Manager of the Data Processing and Quality Control (DPQC) consortium which provides QC services to ESA for Envisat, ERS-2 and Landsat data products.
Realising that 70% of project problems is human related and 30% technical, I want to strengthen my interpersonal hence communications skills and my latent (Project) management skills.
Lunar and Mars payload operations/system engineering, ground segment design and development.
From a personal point of view: honest, loyal team worker, prepared to work very hard with strong organising skills and eye for details. A natural networker with interest in Project Management and working with people in a multi-national environment.
