Technical Lead at Cynergy Systems
British Columbia, Canada
Currently seeking either large or small contract/freelance opportunities. I have a tremendous passion for this industry. This passion is demonstrated on my blog http://www.digitalmediaminute.com where I have been sharing my experience, passions, and knowledge for the past three and a half years. My participation in the conversation about technology has garnered me much respect in the web development community. Digital Media Minute has grown to the point where it now receives in excess of 4500 unique visits each day. I continue to get excited everyday to post and share the information that I come across as I research new technologies, methodologies and tools.
I am a quick and eager learner and I always look forward to the new challenges of using new technology. I am a highly motivated self-starter and my organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines are excellent. I communicate my ideas clearly and I am a team player who always work well with my peers and supervisors.
General skills include web developer, server administrator, business development and project manager. I have been responsible for leading a number of exciting web applications ranging from a content management framework (XML backend/XSLT front end), a Flex based Irrigation Scheduling Calculator and a storm water modeling app built using Flex 2.0. I have extensive experience in web design, web programming (PHP, JSP, AJAX, Ruby on Rails) and interaction design (Flash, Actionscript).
