I have been in the automotive field for 30+ years. Started out as a mechanic at DiTardi Pontiac and Buick in Woodstock, and gradually worked my way up to sales manager. I then moved to co-own Mitchell/Potts Lincoln Mercury in McHenry for a few years. I got into the PowerSports area with Lake County PowerSports in 2006 and continued that involvement with creating Jim Potts Motor Group in Woodstock in 2007. Jim Potts Motor Group is both a PowerSports store as well as a car dealership. This has allowed me to merge my knowledge of both industries into one company.
