Engaged by Fortune 50 company to design, build, and test a large scale message broker environment to abstract back-office systems from web-based and B2B client access. This project brought one of the first large-scale clustered queue manager topologies into production in late summer of 2000. In addition to the EAI messaging infrastructure, also introduced an online XML based toolkit to enable rapid client adoption of the first transaction-based services (Order Entry and Available to Promise) brought to market by this client. Successfully engaged to architect a distributed call center using VOIP (Voice Over IP) and messaging technologies to link telephony and operational systems. Introduced and developed Enterprise Architecture process improvements and governance organizations with a variety of large clients.

Managed over sixty-five (65) professionals in the MVS DB2 DBA, Oracle DBA, Systems Architecture, Enterprise OLAP services, and Production Support in an environment of over twenty terabytes of disk storage. Direct participation included the Apollo NA Bank Cards Credit Decisioning application (6 Terabytes ORACLE 8.0.5), MIS Data Warehouse (8 Terabytes - Oracle 8i), and ATT-UCS and Citibank Web sites. Introduced first Storage Area Network to the organization to more effectively manage disk storage pools.

    Placed into production the company’s first data warehouse. Direct participation in the TM project completed almost one year earlier than planned and produced approximately twelve million dollars annually in benefits as calculated by the business partners. Cost saving of over two (2) million dollars realized within the mainframe database environment from operating efficiencies and performance improvements.
