Jim Netzband’s Summary

My current role with Farmers' Insurance Group is to recruit, train, and support Farmers' agents in all aspects of building their businesses. My previous experience in banking and investing allows me greater insight into the overall financial planning strategies that our agents can offer their clients.

Prior to Farmers', I worked for two bank-based financial institutions as a retail bank branch manager and investment advisor. This dual role at each allowed me to work with a diverse client base, from start-up small business owners to high net worth clients. Each client's situation was unique, and I enjoyed being part of their success stories. I enjoy helping others with questions about small business issues, retirement planning, or any other topic of importance to them.

I served nine years in the US Army Infantry, with several overseas deployments, including the Middle East and the Korean DMZ. Throughout my time in the military, I was fortunate enough to serve with some very competent and professional individuals who taught me the importance of effective leadership, accountability, attention to detail, and sound operational planning.
