Jim Nee’s Summary
Evlogia design is a small company based just south of Baltimore, MD. Relative newcomers to the design and internet markets, Evlogia has been designing, hosting and managing web sites since 2003.
With a strong background in accessibility, we strive to create customer sites that are pleasing to the eye while remaining friendly to search engine crawlers and many assistive devices. In other words, we try hard to make our your website text based, and utilize a variety of CSS stylings to create the look you want while maintaining accessibility standards as much as possible. We also have a background in cross-platform, cross-browser design, ensuring your site is viewable by in a variety of browsers.
At Evlogia we tend to agree with Dostoevsky's Prince in The Idiot: …the world will be saved by beauty. We strive to have our combination of design and back-end code be 'beautiful', for in our experience beauty lifts the mind.
Simple, yet significant is the phrase that running through our minds as we're working on a design for online viewing or a brochure for your company's reception table. For us, beauty compliments the 'functional', but is neither overstated nor simplistic. With just the right balance for your particular needs, beauty and simplicity can indeed be significant enough to give your audience a welcoming feeling as they find out more about you, what you offer and how you can help them achieve their goals.
