He has 3+ years working for Microsoft and designed their first enhanced music CD, which was prominently featured in the Windows 95 launch advertising campaign. He also worked as a on several popular CD-ROM titles such as Encyclopedia of Baseball, Basketball, Encarta and Road Map.

He went on to work with Cranium's co-founder Whit Alexander creating the most detailed interactive world atlas ever created, Microsoft's Encarta Interactive World Atlas.
