From a lowly Private (E-1) in maintenance to my retirement as a Major (O-4) in the Corps of Engineers, I travelled the world, rebuilt deuce and half trucks at the depot level, built roads, airfields, and warehouses. I commanded B Company, 15th Combat Engineers Motorized. I was the Chief of the Engineer ARTEP branch in the school of Engineers in Ft. Leonardwood. I also spend time refining our minefield training procedures and traveled the US speaking to Battalion-level and higher audiences about minefield warfare. Spent my last five years as a reservist in ARCOM positions including G3 staff and as the Headquarters Company Commander.

Contract writer for the Windows NT Device Driver Kit (DDK) and member of the Windows SDK doc build team. Researched and drafted documentation for the DDK. Setup and ran various help documentation builds, rolling out the first version of WinHelp and later HTMLHelp. Trained new personnel in my spare time.
