Jim Fuhrmann’s Interests:

My long-term fascination with computers and technology have taken center stage in my life over the last ten years. However, I always find time to break free from my research activities to enjoy some outdoor activities. I have a deep love for music and really enjoy listening to all types of genres; depending on my mood, you can find me listening to country, soft rock, classic rock, blues, alternative, classical, jazz, and inspirational. I also enjoy listening to podcasts, which I've come to rely on for my daily dose of on-demand news and self help audio. I enjoy learning new things and exploring new areas, and since I am a recent transplant from the north, there is much to explore.

Jim Fuhrmann’s Honors:

During my tenure with the State of Connecticut Military Department, I received an award for the successful completion and implementation of a paperless process system which resulted in substantial savings for the taxpayers of Connecticut.
