Jill Golick is a new media producer, screenwriter, story editor and blogger. In 2009, while attending the NBC Universal Multimedia Matchmaking Program she and CBC’s Tessa Sproule created The Catalyst, a reality show with a social networking twist. Their project was awarded a development grant by the Bell Fund. Through her company Story2.OH and in collaboration with Montreal’s Giraffesoft, Golick is currently launching Hailey Hacks, a web video series for tween girls. She is also working with major corporations to deliver their brand stories to the web community.
In 2008, Golick created, wrote and produced the bleeding-edge experimental web series boy meets girl. Golick’s interest in the “new” media dates back the 1980s when she created and produced 11 pieces of software for the educational market.
As a writer and story editor, Golick has more than 200 hours of produced TV to her credit. She was Creative Producer on Instant Star and Executive Story Editor on the sexy soap Metropia and Executive Story Editor on four season's of Global's gritty crime series Blue Murder.
Golick worked extensively as a writer of children’s programs, including Wimzie’s House, Shining Time Station, Canadian Sesame Street, Zaboomafoo and Kratt's Creatures.
