Project Manager at RainStorm Consulting
Bangor, Maine Area
Currently, I’m working on project management, marketing, and growth initiatives for RainStorm Consulting, an agile web services & development firm located in beautiful Orono, Maine.
Previously, I owned Clarke Creative Group, where I helped clients of all sizes (especially authors and entrepreneurs) build websites and weblogs. During this time, I designed the logo and website for Media Bloggers Association, the world’s largest advocacy and promotional organization for bloggers. I also helped to plan the organization's highly-successful BlogNashville conference, including the conception and launch of a conversation aggregation tool which garnered media attention.
My first book, 'Michael Moore Is A Big Fat Stupid White Man' (co-authored with David T. Hardy), spent six weeks on The New York Times non-fiction best seller list in the summer of 2004. The book was lauded by the Standford Review, Flint Journal, and others (read reviews at http://jasonclarke.org/writing/moorebook) for its insightful deconstruction of pseudo-muckraker/filmmaker Michael Moore. The book arose from Moorelies.com, a weblog I created that was one of the most popular blogs on the internet during its run, logging over 5 million unique visitors during from April 2003 to December 2005. Today, Moorelies.com is under different editorial control.
In addition to writing on my personal website, http://jasonclarke.org, I also manage a food photography & commentary blog called The Living Well Report online at http://livingwellreport.com.

The project catapaulted the MBA site into the Top 50 of all weblogs in the world for January and February 2005 according to weblog ranking service TTLB.
