John Schwally has worked on dozens of PBS and cable documentaries throughout his career and garnered numerous awards including multiple national Emmies.
Among his works is the are 3 new documentaries for the National Geographic TV series 'Naked Science'. Past credits include the limited series RoboCars for Science Channel, Frontline: Muslims, Nature, Innovation, Religion & Ethics Newsweekly, Beating the Odds. His independent documentary FDR's Secret Air Force is near completion and presently in search of finishing funds.
Schwally was instrumental in establishing a New York presence for the Producers Guild of America, becoming a founding Co-Chair of the PGA East. He is a past Co-Chair of the PGA East Documentary Committee. Beginning with the Spring 2010 semester, he will be an Adjunct Professor of Communications at the New York Institute of Technology's Manhattan campus.
