I'm a passionate freelance software dude and security consultant. I started programming when I was 12, moved through some years of Java, web development and ANSI C development on Linux and OS/2 (yes, it just won't die). I finally started full time freelancing in the summer of 2007.
Now I enjoy making the newest technologies usable to my customers. I think it's important never to cling to "old" technologies just because you know them if something new gets the job done more efficiently and elegantly. So I guess I have a fascination for learning new languages and frameworks. My languages of choice are Ruby, Objective-C/Cocoa and JavaScript at the moment.
I also do international consulting work in the network and web application security field, including security audits and code reviews. Major international companies are among my clients.
Ruby, Ruby On Rails, Java, C/C++, Objective-C, Cocoa, Cocoa Touch, iPhone applications, Python, OpenSocial, jQuery, PHP, HTML, XML, SOAP, CSS, JavaScript, Wicket, Hibernate, SQL, DB2, Web and Desktop UI Design, Ajax, Design Patterns, Eclipse, CVS, Subversion, Unix, Solaris, Linux, OS/2, Mac OS X, network security, web security, Facebook, OO, OOP, Testing
