Started working at Auctiva Corp (http://auctiva.com) in September 2006 as a Website Designer. Primary responsibility was content updates. Over the last couple years I've developed many improvements to the Auctiva website and others.

* Developed a templating system with Brad Boswell to facilitate faster creation of stores for eBay users.
* Assisted the Lead designer in developing the design and UI for http://kickitback.com
* Worked on early prototypes of flash games for Battle Bids.
* Introduced new development tools and technologies to the company. Firebug, jQuery, XML/XSL, and others.
* Helped develop a CMS for an informational Blog.
* Tutored and assisted the design team in learning CSS and web best practices.
* Developed mockups and prototypes for many new developments.

My responsibilities increased with my skills and now I hold the title of Jr. Software Engineer. I still primarily work on the front end (HTML, CSS, JS), but have also done quite a bit of C# as necessary to accomplish my tasks.

Goals
I consider myself a usability enthusiast. I am constantly trying to look for solutions that help users work faster, make less errors, and feel empowered. I've found myself working on the end product a lot as I have practically mastered CSS and HTML but I prefer to work on concepts and develop UI on a higher level.
