I am the rapporteur / Blog Administrator for the current research programme at the institute in Lancaster University. The programme is entitled "New Sciences of Protection: Designing Safe Living" and will involve a number of workshops over the year including a knowledge share with the MA Design Interactions course at the Royal College of Art .

Focusing in particular on a project entitled Tackling Obesities,: Future Choices my colleague and I were asked to interpret, visualise and communicate various implications outlined in a number of scientific studies that described the number of factors that are influencing the rise in obesity in the UK. The project was launched recently at the RSA .
