Have served either officially or unofficially as desktop technical support and/or assistant systems administrator in every job held since 1999, and have an broad range of knowledge covering almost every common software package and hardware configuration, and am also familiar with some less common areas as well. Can build, troubleshoot, and repair almost any PC or Mac based computer, and troubleshoot and solve most problems in any given program. Even with software or systems I am not very familiar with, I know how to find resources to supplement my expertise so I can perform necessary tasks, and enjoy adding new knowledge to my repertoire
Have also spent two years professionally assisting with web site engineering, and have many more years of personal training and expertise in web technologies such as Apache, PHP, MySQL, ASP, XHTML, RSS, Javascript, and CSS. While I have had experience with the graphical and aesthetic side of web design, I am a technical person at heart, and prefer working on the coding end of things.
My goal is to simply find a career in either tech support, systems administration, or web development with a stable company. I'm looking for a long-term job, so work environment is also a deciding factor for me; I like to keep things relaxed and friendly on the personal level, but can handle any workload thrown at me.

Although the only official titles at HFE are "employee" or "manager", we all wear many hats. Specifically, I am responsible for the following, some formally and some informally:
* Sales associate
* Webmaster
* eBay seller and manager
* Consignment lead
* Assistance in pricing stock
* Assistance in procurement of new inventory
I consider my work here a labor of love, as I have a long, sentimental history with the store, predating my employment by many, many years. I honestly wish I could make a career here, but my financial realities will unfortunately not permit it.
While not the best example of my work, the company web site is my pride and joy, as I put it together in my fragments of spare time, and it has been universally well-received by investors, coworkers, and customers alike, especially in comparison to the previous site (which was largely a placeholder, as no one would actually make any time to design a more aesthetically pleasing and functional site). I am still hard at work improving it, though most of my time is currently being spent on the backend, providing easy-to-use interfaces for site updates so my less-web-inclined peers and supervisors can assist in maintaining the site content with a minimal learning curve.
