After several year of experience in advertising, I co-founded Qi (www.qi-ideas.com) in the last quarter of 1997. Qi developed numerous award winning interactive marketing and brand concepts for clients like Heineken Netherlands, Heineken International, Bols Distilleries, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Air Miles, Essent, Bacardi, Philips Europe and Unilever. Within Qi we also developed own digital media products like the virtual advertising agency Qineboko.com and the mobile content platforms Fanplay and Notones.
From July 2005 till September 2007, I worked for TBWA\Company Group. First as Managing Director at TEQUILA\ (www.tequila.nl). This agency combined brand activation and new media and I worked for clients like UPC, TomTom, ABN Amro, Albert Heijn (Ahold) and Playstation.
From the start of 2007 till October 2007 I was Director Strategy & Innovation of TBWA\. Apart from activities for clients, I was responsible for the local and international role out of a new initiative of TBWA\ called BrandGossip (www.brandgossip.nl) and I helped with the integration of Agency.com within TBWA\.
From 2008 I worked as strategy director at the creative shop 2010 Amsterdam. Next to that Rembrandt Smids and I started a new company called BrandWebbing: a new and unique brand strategic approach for online media.
In January 2010 I co-founded Lab1111. We develop and exploit digital communication products to create relevant brand platforms for advertisers, media companies and ad agencies.
What interests me most, is applying new brand communications technology in a valuable, relevant way. Thus, I strive to make clients' differentiating power tangible and sustainable. Furthermore I frequently publish and I am often a speaker at events and seminars.
