Jerlyn Thomas grew up in the Caribbean and has dominated most of the web from since she was 11 years old. From that age, she was very aware of her dreams. She landed her first professional job when she was 14 and by the time she was 15 she was a published illustrator and savvy programmer. She also became the youngest professional web designer in the Virgin Islands and made her debut in the local paper.
Always an honor student, she attended a Science-Math Magnet high school and after 4 years realized that she might not be happy changing the world by being a Chemical Engineer or Politician. She always had many hobbies. After attending Yale University as an up and coming Junior Statesman, she realized that her favorite hobby would shape her future when she ended up creating memorabilia for everyone at the program.
Her luck began when she chose Rochester Institute of Technology as her post secondary education. She started off as a Graphic Designer and quickly switched to the more popular career field, New Media Design & Imaging. She decided that she would be an interactive designer. To this day, Jerlyn spends much of her time creating things that she refuses to believe that is work.
She is an Interactive Designer with substantial design experience, training and creativity. She has obtained a position with a strong, forward-thinking, progressive company and fully utilizes her knowledge & experience as a New Media Designer.
