As a digital technician for commercial photographers, I'm also passionate for all types of media -- whether print, video or web -- and while consuming it is nice, creating it is much more satisfying.
My baseline career is as a former journeyman Pre-press Technician with 19+ years of production experience along with honed skills as Technical Advisor, Workflow Engineer, Technical Sales Support, and Trainer with strong high-end experience in all graphic arts applications and creative photo manipulation, large-scale digital asset management and remote digital proofing.
During this time I've also kept busy with web and digital video as well. Online in one form or another since 1987, I can help you traverse the technologies and lingo (I am also fluent in speaking plain English about technical matters). I've been working with video since 1990 (Video Toaster, anyone?). My IMDB profile is here: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3206492/
Digital asset management, print production, video production, web development, photo retouching and compositing, in-house and client training, workflow development, pre-press, documentation writing, output calibration, color management. Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Pro.
