Jeremy Meyers’s Summary

My passion lies in developing remarkable online content that tell stories in a compelling, unique, personal and ultimately valuable way. I believe that enabling connection through the sharing of common experience is at the core of making the world a better place. I have lead the production of both audio and video series around some of the most classic and influential music ever created, including Michael Jackson, Billy Joel, Miles Davis, Sarah McLachlan, Yo-Yo Ma, and 15-20 others.

I am a veteran of the online and digital media world, being professionally involved since 1999 and playing my own small part in shaping the landscape for music in the online space.

I was hired by Sony Music to lead their online word-of-mouth department in 2004, which included monitoring message boards, and introduced the executives to a fledgling site called MySpace. This culminated in my securing the first feature for the new MySpace Music brand with a band called Midtown.

Currently, I am in a Digital Experience Producer for Communications firm Waggener Edstrom, where I advise and execute on digital and social media strategies on behalf of our clients.
