A Trend Hunter at heart, Jeremy is a relentlessly creative individual fueled by innovation and curiosity. An early adopter, Jeremy launched his first online publications in 1995. Today, he publishes TREND HUNTER Magazine, hosts Trend Hunter TV, delivers keynote speeches around the world, and is the Author of EXPLOITING CHAOS (Gotham Books, September 2009).
Jeremy is an engaging conference speaker and frequently sought after by television programs, newspapers and radio shows for his opinions on the next big thing. MTV calls Jeremy, “on the forefront of cool.”
Jeremy holds an MBA from Queen’s University and graduated as a Chancellor Scholar with a Bachelors in Finance from the University of Calgary. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a lifelong student of marketing, psychology and strategy. Most recently, he studied Customer Focused Innovation at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and d.School. He loves to teach and enjoys leading workshops in: innovation, competitive strategy, and quantitative analysis.
Jeremy was formerly the head of the Prime and Superprime Acquisition Business for Capital One Canada. He also led the organization’s Competitive Strategy and Innovation imperative. Prior to working in finance, Jeremy spent the majority of his professional career as a Management Consultant at the Monitor Group. There, he advised top-level strategy to Fortune 50 clients and government clients with a focus on scenario planning, creative innovation and the assessment of new technologies.
In his past, Jeremy has been involved as an Editor-in-Chief, Technology Fund Manager, Motorcycle Racing Student, Dodgeball Captain, Ski Racer, Charity Event Planner, and Founder of a thirteen person painting company.
