Assigned to project to port fast changing UNIX product to MS-DOS using extended memory programming (Phar Lap, IIRC), so that the company could bid for a US Army procurement that would run DOS on a UNIX system. Yes, I was to port a native UNIX product to DOS, so it would run in a DOS emulator under UNIX. Good job I have a sense of humour.

Joined as a porting programmer and ended up running the user facing technical operation, from customer support to training, custom driver development and business process interfaces.
