Client Relationship Manager
In this position I manage the relationships between Amec and KOC for projects managed under the PMC contract.
There is US $10 billion in capital expenditure under Amec PMC management.
I develop deep understanding on client's requirements, needs and issues and feed these back to the Amec management.

Project manager for a new 125 km 30” diameter crude oil pipeline traversing the north and south of Kuwait.
Chairman of Amec Sports and Social Club
Amec has 350 employees in Kuwait spread across several offices. The club was established and I became the founding chairman by popular vote.
The club arranges sporting and social activities for the employees and their families.
In my role as Chairman I negotiate with Amec management for funding and approvals when these are required, chair the regular Club meetings and promote the Club to outside parties (when sponsorship is required for example). I also issue a regular notices to all staff informing them of news and events concerning the Club.

Managed many projects simultaneously. Re-defined the manner in which minor capital works projects were conducted and was training other project managers at the refinery in the process.

• Crude Oil Line Refurbishment. Design, installation, project management. Re-rated line from 38°C to 75°C operation, saving millions using innovative design and construction techniques. Tight construction period required multiple work crews, which I supervised.
• Butane Storage Sphere. Concept development, feasibility, scope development, tenders, approvals, scheduling, management, commissioning, hand over.
• Crude Oil Storage Tank Modifications. Fitted double seals, necessitating lifting the height of the 64m diameter tank.
• Teroman Work Order Management System. Evaluated operability and created operating procedures for in-house designed Vax VMS based software maintenance system. Re-trained maintenance personnel in its use.
