My passion is creating interactive business systems that engage everyday people. When people are engaged, it raises brain function, builds awareness, and opens the door to trust. I enjoy studying the differences between political messaging and consumer marketing, and cross-implementing lessons learned.

Marketing often stops short with branding - at creating awareness and expectations. I want to go further and move strangers to be friends, then clients, and on to raving fans. I love building bases of loyalty. The amazing thing is that being trustworthy in a relationship is often as easy as communicating and adding value. It is a totally natural effect but it takes work and intention.

In my current roles, my goal is to empower the organizations' representatives who deal in that "three feet of real estate" - building trusted brands through meeting expectations.

A fellow small businessman once told me about dealing with his employees who wanted to craft a 'Terms and Conditions' poster for their POS location. The goal was to reduce negative encounters with disappointed clients. The old-timer simply laughed. He went into his office and came back a few minutes later with a sheet of paper that read, "Terms and Conditions. 1) The customer is always right."
