I am a medical journalist and also write narrative nonfiction. I won two National Headliner Awards for my column in the Hartford Courant, and have spoken to students at Stanford University about the craft of writing. As an editor at Schiller & Wells, Ltd., Publishers, I seek strong fiction and nonfiction book manuscripts; and as a co-editor at Brink Magazine I'm looking for well-written short stories, nonfiction, and poetry.
I am also a licensed and board-certified emergency physician.
