Helping clients make the most of the web.

I help organisations identify how to respond to and engage with online social media, and help them implement web tools and services for internal communications and consumer engagement.
I also design and build websites that have social media at their core, advising clients on content approach and techniques for engaging with online audiences.
Most of my clients sit within the cultural / government / not-for-profit sector.

My job is to look for opportunities and encourage the Ministry of Justice to use web-based tools to improve working practices and communications, both internally and with the public.
I produced a successful media monitoring 'dashboard' for the Press Office using free online tools. The dashboard has given the Press Office a much broader view of online media and has enabled press officers to respond to and rebut inaccurate stories before they break.
I helped the 'People, Power & Politics' policy team establish a 'national discussion' through development of a Wordpress website, a Twitter account and other social networking activities.

I carry out regular video production training with internal comms and press officers. Training is concentrated on the production of 'behind-the-scenes' footage for use on the intranet and for distribution to media outlets via YouTube.

I set up a regular programme of webchats between board members, ministers and MoJ staff. A first for Ministry of Justice, they've been extremely well received by staff and 'VIPs' alike.

I produce strategies that enable clients to engage with online audiences through blogs, social networks and content sharing sites.
Usually this begins with mapping the 'buzz' around the brand and evaluating audience sentiment.
Recommendations are based on clients existing marketing requirements and encourage new techniques to engage meaningfully and effectively with audiences.
Clients include:
The National Gallery, London
British Computer Society (on behalf of Box UK)
