Freelance Writer, Author, Professional Blogger, Online Writing, Editing and Community Consultant and Contractor
Dallas/Fort Worth Area
I have been a professional writer since 2003 when I started a weblog and began to have my articles reprinted for regional parenting publications and newspapers. Through my years of experience online, I have become an online community advisor as well as an online writing and editing contractor and consultant. My writing caught the attention of a literary agent. After signing with her premier agency, we began to work together on my memoir.
I have published parenting articles for both local and international publications as well as several articles online.
I am sought for interviews for topic matters covering the many aspects of parenting, the pros and cons of online and console gaming as well as the ins and outs of online communities.
I was a keynote speaker at BlogHer '06. I spoke on two panels of note at BlogHer Conferences in both 2005 and 2006. I am a founding Mommy and Family contributing editor at BlogHer the website.
Writing is my passion. Followed closely by public speaking.
