I worked on Mackinac Island for the Lake View Hotel in the summer of 1997. It was a GREAT experience that I'd recommend to anyone who is thinking about the idea. I love the island and have been there at least 20 times in my life (15 or so of them AFTER I worked there) so I may be a bit biased but there are great opportunites for fun and learning there!
