Jennifer M. Hinkel’s Summary

At NCCN, I am responsible for the management and sales of information product lines including NCCN Trends, Oncology Trends Reports, Flash Updates. I also direct or collaborate on a number of research, analytics, and consulting projects ranging from cancer center operations to oncology policy and economics to healthcare IT and EMR. My role includes bringing new information products online and conducting qualitative and quantitative research on issues pertinent to the oncology market in a broad sense. I am also a member of our health policy group, working on issues such as comparative effectiveness paradigms for oncology. Some of my newest interests include looking at our international initiatives in the Middle East, especially the UAE and Qatar.

Additionally, I teach courses in Health Policy and Adminsitration and Health Economics at Penn State University, Abington Campus, and Arcadia University. Outside of health care, I participate in start-up activities in the fashion/apparel and consumer products space. I am also a writer specializing in health care and travel writing.
