Owner, Eye For Film
United Kingdom
I have been working in media production throughout my life, getting my first work published as a journalist when I was fifteen and selling my first short story a year later. I've spent sixteen years reviewing films, interviewing people in the film industry and writing film related features for a variety of publications. Latterly I have developed my skills as an editor, managing a large team of writers and liaising with people at all levels of the industry.
Besides film, I have dealt with numerous other subjects in the course of my writing career, including business, politics and sexuality. My recent magazine work includes features in Color Splash, Especia, The Peeq, Tricked and You & Me.
I have been involved in the production of several films and currently have a short, All That Glitters, in development in Los Angeles. In the long term I hope to have more time to devote to screenwriting, but at the moment I'm quite busy enough with the work I've got! I've also published a novel, The Orpheus Industry, and several short stories. I aim to balance my creative work against the sort which brings in reliable money. At Eye For Film I enjoy using my creative talents in developing a resource to entertain and inform the public.
