As a technical writer:
I translate tech-speak to understandable, straightforward English for a wide range of users, from first-time computer users to experienced engineers.
As a playwright/screenwriter/filmmaker:
My work has appeared in Fourteen Hills and has been performed in Washington, DC at the Kennedy Center’s American College Theater Festival, in New York in the Boomerang Theatre Company Spring Flight and First Flight series, and in San Francisco at the SF Fringe Festival, the Greenhouse workshop at El Teatro De La Esperanza, the PlayGround Emerging Playwrights Festival, Luna Sea theater, and in an abandoned bunker in the Marin Headlands. Kollmer’s You’re It was a finalist in the Actors Theatre of Louisville National Ten-Minute Play Contest. Armed with an MFA in playwriting and a BS in electrical engineering, she launched sftheatre.org, a craigslist for the San Francisco theater crowd. Her screenplay, Base Two, was optioned by WillFilm Productions.
