I would characterize myself as an online optimization curiosity-seeker. My job experience has been in web analytics, which is a great jumping-off point for a wide range of related disciplines, and I have been lucky to be in environments that encourage me to expand my knowledge. My understanding of things like website architecture, SEM, SEO, programming, and social media have made it possible for me to provide relevant guidance to clients and colleagues with a broader understanding than "just web analytics." And the best part is - there is still so much more to learn!

For SurfAid Analytics the Technical Consultant was responsible for a wide range of tasks: operations, consulting, support, account management, etc. During my seven years in this role it changed quite a bit - some years some of the tasks were emphasized more than others.
