  These two companies are now one, Icebox. They fall somewhere between (over and outside of) fashion retail & ad specialty. Icebox consistently offers a new range of promotional products and backs it with the unique expertise from concept to construction to cleanup. I cut my professional teeth with this company managing the creative accounts of corporate apparel projects for Disney, MTV, Urban Outftters, NBC & Hard Rock Cafe.

  A sister set of magazines started in Atlanta. Elemental featured emerging hiphop/rap talent and grew from a local, free, city-wide newsprint publication to a high-quality, perfect-bound internationally-distributed & highly-respected independent lifestyle publication.
  
  World Famous featured emerging contemporary Soul and the sometimes-overlooked but essentially-influential forefathers of Soul & Hiphop Culture, avoiding predictable or easy genre classifications for the sake of substance. The print publication was eventually retired though the organization evolved into a series of blogs and a social network of musicians, artists and journalists.

  In this role I was a short order designer and illustrator, generating large volumes of art for corporate and retail apparel programs. I mastered the art of preparing graphics for screenprint & embroidery production and got some great experience interacting & presenting to clients. At this time my main accounts were Gold's Gym, Outback Steakhouse, Crunch Fitness, St. Jude's Children's Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
