I work with secondary schools and colleges to develop research-supported curricula, model policies, and outstanding educational programs on student health issues. I help them enhance their prevention and intervention responses to underage drinking, teen drug use, and other high-risk behaviors among adolescents.
I have over ten years experience working with schools and colleges and 12 years working in a therapeutic community. I use an integrative prevention approach to adapt to the unique institutional cultures of each client.
I blog, write articles for major publications, appear as a regular guest expert for FOX News, and create social media (3 podcasts) related to the addiction prevention and intervention field http://www.jeffwolfsberg.com http://www.thedrugguy.com
My background is in counseling psychology, corporate training and social media technology. I mixed my passion for psychology, adult learning, and social media to create direct and asynchronous learning experiences for students, parents, and educators.
Keynotes and conference workshops for educators and parents on adolescent substance abuse, seminars with secondary school and college students on alcohol abuse and other drug addiction, workshops with parents on teen substance abuse and family communication, consulting and institutional coaching with secondary schools and colleges regarding response, prevention, and intervention of underage drinking and other drug use.
