In September 2003, Kiwanis stood in front of the community of North Bay and committed to raising $750,000 to the Caring for Generations Campaign for the new North Bay Regional Health Centre, making it the 4th largest gift of the campaign. As Chair of the committee, worked with numerous club members, volunteers, hospital and foundation staff, and local businessmen to meet our pledge. Five years later the club is about to become the 1st lead gift to complete it's commitment.

Developed and implemented a marketing strategy and facilities upgrade to transform former Canadian Forces Base - North Bay, 401 Electronic Warfare Squadron's Aircraft Hangars into a new Aerospace Centre at Jack Garland Airport in North Bay. Currency was jobs! The military employed 230 personnel in the former facility that now boasts over 350 employees from employers Bombardier, Voyageur Airways, Lemex Aviation, and Wood Group.
